After Peru we spent two months back in Stroud and Olive returned to Sunlands for a term. We spent the time in a beautiful Airbnb overlooking the Stroud valleys. It was lovely enjoying our favourite hits around Stroud like Salt Bakery and Japanese Tomariji. We also spent several amazing weekends celebrating Charl and Nev’s wedding with a Hen Do, Stag Do, Gudwara and wedding ceremony. Congrats guys!
Then we spent a month in Brum with Selina’s family before heading across the Irish Sea to Dublin to enroll Olive in her cousin Hugo’s school and enjoy a month of Irish living.
We started off with a bang - swimming in a freezing cold outdoor seawater pool. Nice!
Guinness tasted amazing as ever in Ireland, so creamy!
There were different festivals that we went to, celebrating arts and crafts - Olive made her own skipping rope at one.
We watched Some Irish classics to learn more about Ireland - The Snapper, The Commitments and The Van.
We went to Dublin zoo again. A really great zoo. I loved the reaction to the tiger walking past the glass!
Sara really looked after us, cooking some amazing food including her stunning Indian night with Muttar Paneer, lamb chops and Daal. She’s a great host and cook!
As we leave Ireland we are looking forward to more adventures stretching across New Zealand and Asia over the next year. Thanks for looking after us so nicely Sara.
